Supreme Judicial Council Doha Book Fair Pavilion
Qatari architectural references became a living institutional pavilion through digital experiences.
SUPREME JUDICIAL COUNCIL · 2024
Brief
The Supreme Judicial Council wanted to bring its institutional identity to visitors in a contemporary setting at Doha International Book Fair 2024. The pavilion needed to express Qatari architectural references while making room for digital experiences.
The requirement was to design and produce custom structures, interactive screens, a suspended circular LED display, lighting and visitor-engagement areas together.
Insight
A pavilion communicates institutional identity through the space visitors enter as well as through its logo. Architectural references connected with digital experiences can turn a familiar local form into a contemporary interaction environment.
Connecting the physical structure and digital layer allows visitors to read the space and engage with its content within the same experience.
The Idea
We framed the pavilion as an institutional space shaped by Qatari architecture and activated by digital content. Custom-built structures expressed local identity, while interactive screens and digital experiences opened ways for visitors to participate.
The suspended circular LED completed the pavilion’s visual focus. Lighting, branded areas and engagement points became complementary parts of the same design.
Execution
We delivered the pavilion design, custom-built structures and on-site execution. Interactive screens and digital experiences were integrated into the physical setting; the suspended circular LED and lighting were prepared as part of the overall environment.
Branded institutional areas and visitor-engagement points were produced within the same pavilion layout. Architectural reference, digital technology and institutional identity came together in one delivery.
